Oilfield Services Business Briefing - November 2008
A business briefing morning was held at The Hilton Patio Hotel in Aberdeen on 26th November.
Delegates watched a demonstration of Tekton's Oilfield Services software, including topics such as Equipment Rental & Tracking; Personnel Hire & Human Resources; Project/Job Management; Equipment Maintenance; CRM; and International Deployment Reporting, and international deployment. Tekton customers in the oilfield services were discussed, such as Aquatic Engineering and Construction Ltd (an Acteon company), iicorr, UWG Engineering, Seatronics, Claxton Engineering, IMS, Enermech, Oceanteam and Trident Offshore, all of whom have successfully moved from other software products having seen the benefits and return on investment that Tekton's software can bring.

Oilfield Services Software Briefing - May 2008
Thainstone House, Inverurie, was the setting for the latest Tekton Briefing, focused on the benefits of using an integrated ERP software system for managing equipment, personnel, and projects. Speakers included John Edwards, from Microsoft Scotland, and Peter Burgham and Mike Dalziel of Tekton. Further briefings are planned for later this year. The attendees were praising of the venue and the efforts of the hotel staff in organising and catering the event.

Acteon Group Rolls Out MS Dynamics NAV Across 4 Companies - FEB 2008
Four of the Acteon Group companies have begun the roll-out of the world-class Microsoft Dynamics NAV enterprise software system. Consolidating from a variety of older systems, the Group will gain the benefits of a standardised solution, providing corporate management reporting quickly and efficiently via a link to a set of Jet Reports designed in-house by the Acteon project team. The overall solution also allows for each company (Trident, IMS, Seatronics, LDD) to exercise a degree of autonomy and flexibility in its day-to-day processes.

Tekton Re-organisation: Oilfield Services Business Unit - DEC 2007
Building on a series of successful sales of its Oilfield Services system over the past 18 months, Tekton Group announces the formation of a Business Unit dedicated to the Oil & Gas sector. Headed by two experienced managers in Peter Burgham (Product Manager) and Elliot Herdman (Sales Manager), the new unit will focus on developing the customer base and product functionality under the rebranded Tekton Oilfield Services name.
The operation comes into effect from 1st Jan 2008, and is targeted with growth in both the UK and abroad.

Acteon Group Sign MSA for Worldwide Roll-out - NOV 2007
The high-profile and dynamic Acteon Group has agreed with Tekton to sign a Master Service Agreement (MSA) for 75 concurrent users, to cover Oilfield Services and Financials software across several countries. Aquatic Go Live with Tekton Oilfield Services - JULY 2007
Aquatic Engineering & Construction Ltd, who have been operating the Financials and Job Costing elements of the Tekton Oilfield Services system since the end of 2006, went live in June with the second phase of the project, which incorporates Equipment and Personnel Tracking, and Billing of Rentals and Other Sales. Linked with an in-house developed Graphical Scheduler, management and staff now have instant visibility of the whereabouts and availability of the entire pool of equipment and personnel. Mobilisation and demobilisation activities, including hiring-in of special lifting gear and booking of travel arrangements, can now all be done through the single integrated system, bringing benefits of speed of input, elimination of paper trails, and ease of reference.

Aquatic Begin Phase 2 - APR 2007
At the end of 2006, Aquatic Construction & Engineering Ltd, part of the Acteon Group, went live with Microsoft Dynamics NAV Financials after a rapid implementation in less than 10 weeks, including a smooth data migration from the old Sun system. After a period of consolidation, they have now embarked on Phase 2, extending the system to operate the Oilfield Services modules: Equipment Hire, Personnel Hire, and Job Costing. Go-Live is planned for June.
