CAD
- Fully featured 2D and 3D Windows system that comprise of Architectural CAD and Timber Frame CAD in a fully integrated mode.

Architectural CAD
- Based on simple 2D plan input with automatic 3D generation
- Represents a cost effective CAD design system by virtue of its specialised house specific functions that will significantly out-perform a general purpose CAD program
- Elevations, perspectives and cross sections are all generated automatically.
- The powerful 3D component modelling underlying the system allows a bill of quantities and full geometry data to be generated automatically without the need for any additional work.

Timber Frame CAD
SiteStream Timber Frame CAD has been developed specifically for Timber Frame construction providing unrivalled productivity in the creation of designs and production information. The software is fully integrated with Architectural CAD so that architectural designs are automatically converted to timber frame construction.
The program has been written to accommodate virtually any preference for design or construction methods. All of the flexibility is contained within the CAD program itself with the ability to create customer specific libraries or functions. This means that the program can adjust to any changes in the design or production method just by changing program settings and options.
- Significantly increased throughput in the drawing office, ensuring that projects are transferred and delivered to site in the shortest possible time
- Ability to import floor joist and wall panel layouts that have been defined in Architectural and map core information through standard layout characteristics

- Completely detailed manufacturing panel drawings are generated for production use along with erection layout drawings
- Detailed cutting lists dimensioned to the method most suitable for your type of production, available by panel or by total
- Common sizes grouped together, to ensure productivity of sawing and timber sorting ensuring the most efficient use of timber
- Editing of joist properties is performed directly on screen with the option of predefined solutions
- Generates full production information for either traditional or full/partial automated production lines
- Production of comprehensive geometry file and bill of quantities, which can be imported directly into the SiteStream Estimating and Scheduling program to provide complete integration
- Links directly to SiteStream Estimating and Scheduling module
- Complete 3D rendering capabilities for client visualisation of projects
- SiteStream CAD can read and write AutoCAD DXF and DWG files for current versions of AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT, and all AutoCAD compatible systems
- SiteStream CAD is also compatible with most non-AutoCAD systems and thus fully supports a mixed systems environment.
